After the second lockdown I wanted to get out and do a shoot.
I wanted to do a friendly shoot with a mix of clothes that fitted with a wooded area but at the same time slightly contrasted with the woodland setting. I contacted Angela, a model I had not worked with before but from looking at her portfolio and talking to her knew that she fitted the style I wanted and would be perfect for the job.
I had my new Canon R5 with the 85mm lens. Before lockdown I had used it on some work jobs and was very pleased with the results but didn’t feel I had been able to use it to it’s full potential.
I was using my Elinchrom ELB 1200 as the main light. It was the first time I had used it out in the field since getting it back from repair. It hit every shot, which was nice.
The days before the shoot we has lots of rain but when we got there the conditions were good. Dry and not to cold, but then I did have a big coat on.
